Obituary of Estanislao Niedziela

"Palmer-Estanislao "Stanley" Niedziela, 68, of Pine St. in the Bondsville section of Palmer, died suddenly on Thursday, April 2 at home. Born in Rosario, Argentina, June 9, 1940, he came to this country as a young man, April 4, 1964, lived in Ware for a time, before moving to Bondsville 40 years ago. March 20, 1998, Stanley became a legal U.S. Citizen. A thirty-year machine designer for Tambrands Corporation, Stanley retired in 1997. After his retirement, he worked for many years at Pride Cleaners. He was a communicant of Sts. Peter & Paul Church, a Eucharistic minister and a member of its Men's Guild. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus Palmer Council along with being a member at St. Mary's Club. He will be deeply missed by his wife of 30 years, Claire (Chaples) Niedziela, along with his children, Jennifer Niedziela of Columbus, OH and Joseph Niedziela and his fiancé Renee Stolar of Palmer. He also leaves a sister Angelita Niedziela in Argentina and many nieces and nephews. In his leisure, Stanley enjoyed his yard and tending to his garden. Friends and family may gather Tuesday, April 7 at 11:30 a.m. at the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home, 1475 N. Main St., (Rte.20) to process to a liturgy of Christian burial at 12:30 p.m. in Sts. Peter & Paul Church. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Calling hours are Monday from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. For those wishing, donations may be made in his memory to Sts.
