Obituary of Edna T. Land

"Belchertown – Edna T. (Warchol) Land, 95, of Federal St., died May 26, 2004 in Meadowood Nursing home. Born May 15, 1909 in Three Rivers, MA, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Sophia (Sidlo) Warchol. She was the owner of Edna’s Beauty Salon in Springfield for 20 years. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Boguslaw “Bruno” Land, and a son Stanley and his wife Patricia Libucha of Belchertown, and daughter-in-law Joan Libucha of Wethersfield, CT. She also leaves 7 grandchildren, Kim Libucha, Karen Sumaryono, Mark Libucha, Sondra Wisialowski, Stephen Libucha, Tracy Black, Rocky Libucha and 7 great grandchildren. Edna was predeceased by a son Chester Libucha and 2 brothers Stanley and Joseph Warchol. A funeral mass will be Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Francis Church in Belchertown. Burial will follow in St. Aloysius Cemetery in Indian Orchard, MA. Calling hours are Wednesday morning from 9:00-10:30 a.m. at the BEERS AND STORY BELCHERTOWN FUNERAL HOME. "
