Obituary of Ronald Boyd Sodergren

"Ware, Ronald B. Sodergren, 69, of Sygiel Rd, died April 1 at Mary Lane Hospital. Born in Stockholm, ME, November 13, 1934, he grew up on the family farm. He lived a variety of places, eventually moving to Enfield CT and then to Ware in 1972. Upon his relocation to Ware, he purchased Cascade Farm, as he loved farm life. Ron entered the military after high school and spent some years in Virginia while in the Marines. Besides farming, he loved fishing and hunting, and was a die hard Red Sox fan. He was also a member of the Big Bucks Club in Maine. He owned and operated Pro-Seal Inc., in Ware for 22 years, before retiring in 1992. Mr. Sodergren was predeceased by his wife Jacqueline (Richard) Sodergren in 1997. He will be missed by his two daughters, Joyce Lyman and her husband, Charles of W. Brookfield, and Cynthia Sodergren with whom he lived, along with his granddaughter, Jacqueline Lyman. He also leaves a brother John C. Sodergren of Stockholm, ME, and three sisters Evelyn Moran of Orange, CT, Sylvia Carr of Cape Elizabeth, ME and Joyce vanTrump of Tamarack, FL. He also leaves many dear nieces and nephews. A calling hour will be Tuesday evening, April 6 from 5:00 - 6:00 p.m. at the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home, 1475 N. Main St,(Rte 20), followed by a Celebrant Service and candle ceremony at 6:00 p.m. "
