Obituary of Therese Leclerc

" Therese E. (Leclerc) Leclerc, 74, of Rockrimmon Rd, died peacefully March 26 at Sunbridge of Hadley Nursing Home with her family by her side. Born in Chicopee, Oct. 2, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Anna (Matthews) Leclerc. Mrs. Leclerc grew up in Chicopee and has lived in Belchertown since 1961. She was a communicant of St. Francis Church and was a 25 year employee of the former Belchertown State School. Therese enjoyed birdwatching, fishing and caring for her family. She will be deeply missed by her husband of 53 years, George Leclerc, her three children Roland "Skip" Leclerc and his wife Lori, and Marie Hennessey and her husband Steve, all of Belchertown, and Paul and his wife, Verinique, of Hollywood, FL, along with her two sisters Rose Roberts and Lorraine Rivers of Chicopee. She also leaves her seven cherished grandchildren. Calling hours will be Sunday, March 28 from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. at the Beers & Story Belchertown Funeral Home, 10 Maple St, (Rte 202). Funeral services will be Monday beginning at 9:15 from the funeral home, followed by a mass of Christian burial in St. Francis Church at 10:00 a.m. Donations may be made in her memory to St. Francis church Building Fund, 10 Park St, Belchertown, 01007.
