Obituary of Aubrey T. Huston

"Brimfield-Aubrey T. Huston, 89, of Little Rest Rd. passed away February 22, 2009 at the Holyoke Soldier's Home. Born August 16, 1919 in Washington, D.C., he was the son of the late Edna M. (Haney) and Lawrence T. Huston. Aubrey had lived in Brimfield since 1997, previously residing in Westminster, Maryland. He served his country in the U.S. Navy during WWII and worked for the Army Chemical Center as a mechanic until it closed. He then was a floral designer in Maryland until his retirement in 1979. Aubrey will be greatly missed by his wife of 63 years, Annie Mae (Emerton) along with his children Boottan Ann Ouellette and her husband Donald of Brimfield, Rexwell Aubrey Huston and his wife AJ of Fort Mill, SC, Pamela Jane Huston of Brimfield, Katrinka Sue Poage and her husband Ed of Covington, VA, and Rodman Thomas Huston and his wife Elizabeth of Covington, VA. Aubrey also leaves 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his sister Dorothy Jane in 1945. Visitation will be held Saturday February 28th at 10:00-11:30 a.m.at the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home. A gathering will be held Saturday at 12:00 p.m. at 39 Little Rest Rd. in Brimfield. A graveside service and burial will take place in the spring at Brimfield Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, kindly make donations may be made in his memory to the Holyoke Soldier's Home, 110 Cherry St., Holyoke, MA 01040 or TJ O'Connell Animal Rescue in Springfield. "
