Obituary of John R. Skowyra

"Palmer - John R. Skowyra, 44, of George St., died on February 19, 2009. He was born July 20, 1964 in Springfield, MA, son of the late Anthony and Helen (Anderson) Skowyra. He was lifelong resident of Palmer and graduated from Palmer High School, he received a bachelor degree in architectural engineering from Wentworth Institute. John worked as a survey technician for Sherman & Frydryk Surveyors in Palmer for many years. John will be remembered as a gentle and caring person, he was also an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan. He is survived by a brother, Paul Skowyra and his wife Deborah of Monson, two sisters Susan Gates of Brockton and Carolynn Morrison of Palmer. He will also be missed by nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. All services are private and Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home was entrusted with the arrangements.
