Obituary of Donna M. Potvin

" South Hadley, Donna M. (Brochu) Potvin, 48 of Yale St., died peacefully at home on Wednesday, February 4 after a courageous battle with breast cancer. Born in Holyoke, October 2, 1960, she was the daughter of Eugenie "Janie" (LeBlanc) Brochu of S. Hadley and the late Donald R. Brochu (2005). A lifelong resident of S. Hadley, Donna graduated from its high school and worked for many years as a clerk for Verizon. In her leisure, she enjoyed photography, scuba diving and hot air ballooning. Besides her mother, she will be deeply missed by her husband of 17 years, Gerard J. "Potsy" Potvin, three brothers David P. and Thomas D. Brochu of S. Hadley, and Steven M. Brochu of New Hampshire, along with her two sisters Debra A. Moriarty and husband Timothy of Chicopee and Jennifer L. Schraffa and husband Joseph of N. Andover. She also leaves 2 nephews Tyler and Kyle Moriarty. A private service will be held at Massachusetts Veteran's Memorial Cemetery. Beers & Story S.
