Obituary of Eveline M. Horr

"Belchertown- Eveline M. (Main) Horr, 77, of Ware Rd. died January 3, 2004 at home. Born on June 24, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Alonzo and Geneva (Blair) Main. She has lived in Belchertown for the past 54 years. Eveline was an LPN for many years at the former Belchertown State School and retired in 1981. She is a member of the Easthampton VFW Ladies Auxiliary. Most importantly, Eveline was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was predeceased by her husband Leon E. Horr, Sr. in 1980. Eveline leaves her children Leon E. Jr. and his wife Holly Horr of Palm Bay, FL, Beatrice and her daughter Catherine Cerez with whom she lived, Phyllis and her husband Dwayne Wilson, “Mr. D”, of Stephenson, VA, and Betty Slate of Athol and her husband Richard of Ludlow, a loving niece Donna Kaplan, as well as her cherished grandchildren Angela and her husband Peter Tourigny, Vincent Cerez, Katie and Russ Kalarski, Tammy Henrichon, Catherine Cerez, Wendy and her husband Kevin Wetherbee, Laura and her husband Philip Boudreau, and Chad Slate. She is also survived by her great grandchildren David, Madison, Samuel, Cheyenne, Alexis and many nieces and nephews. Eveline was predeceased by a great granddaughter Valerie. Friends and family are asked to gather at the Beers & Story Belchertown Funeral Home Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. to drive in procession to South Cemetery for a graveside service.
