Obituary of Christine F. Fischer

"Palmer, Christine F. (Corgnati) Fischer, 69 died suddenly on Monday, January 19. Born in Springfield, March 14, 1939, she was the daughter of the late John and Adelle Corgnati. She grew up in Springfield, and following her marriage to the late Carl J. Fischer (2007), the family lived in Wilbraham for a time. She relocated to Palmer 36 years ago. Christine held various positions in her working career, including a secretarial position at Investors in Springfield. Her interests included bargain shopping, taking her chances on the daily lottery, spending time with her friends and family, and travel. She will be deeply missed by her daughter Carleen Eve Fischer Hoffman and her husband Brad of East Longmeadow, along with a brother Louis Corgnati of Springfield, and a sister Linda Lazaro of Wake Forest, NC. A service to celebrate her life will be Saturday, January 24 at 10:00 a.m. at the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home, 1475 N. Main St., followed by burial at St. Thomas Cemetery. Calling hours will be Friday from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. For those wishing donations may be made in her memory to MSPCA in Springfield. "
