Obituary of David W. Gilman

"Three Rivers section of Palmer – David W. Gilman, 63, of Main St., passed away on January 9, 2009. Born in Ludlow, on September 30, 1945, son of the late Thomas E. and Virginia T. (Mumford) Gilman. A proud Veteran, and member of Amvets, he served his country in the U.S. Army during Vietnam. He was an avid sports fan of Nascar, New England Patriots and the Red Sox. He will be missed by his wife Sandra A. (Sierakowski) Gilman, a son David, Jr. and his wife Jean of Thorndike. He also leaves three brothers Thomas, Jr. of Monson, Robert of Fort Pierce, FL and Timothy of Northampton, sister DeeDee Montgomery of Barnegate Light, NJ, mother-in-law Mary Sierakowski of Three Rivers and six grandchildren. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 10:00-12:00 p.m. at the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home, followed by the Funeral Service at 12:00 p.m. Burial will be in St. Anne's Cemetery. "
