Obituary of Michael A. Story

" Michael A. Story, 30, of State Street, died Tuesday as a result of a motor vehicle accident. Born in Southbridge, March 27, 1973, he was the son of Rupert A. “Mike” Story of Wales, and Lynda Bunce of Florida. Michael grew up and lived in Wales for most of his life and was a graduate of Tantasqua Regional High School. He has lived in Monson for the past year. He was a skilled finish carpenter and worked on additions and home remodeling in his father’s business, R.A. Story & Sons, from the time he was a teenager. He also loved Motorcycle Hill Climbs, won numerous trophies in competition and was Number 3 on the New England Circuit. Besides his parents, Michael will be greatly missed by his fiancé, Jaime Hernandez, his son Luke, his stepson A. J. and stepdaughter Gabrielle, his brother William V. of Warwick, RI and Wales, and his grandparents Phyllis (LaRock) Scribner of Warren, and Mary and William Bunce of Hudson, FL. A funeral service will be Tuesday, December 30 at 10:00 a.m. in the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home, 1475 N. Main St, (Rte 20) followed by burial in Wales #4 Cemetery.
