Obituary of Donald R. Hastings

" Iowa, Donald R.Hastings, 66, formerly of Holland, died Dec. 5, 2003 at home in Pisgah, Iowa. Born Nov. 25, 1937, Donald was the son of the late “Chuckie” Hastings. He grew up in Holland and was a graduate of the former Mary E. Wells in Southbridge. He later served his country in the Army before relocating to Omaha, NB where he lived for 35 years. Donald lived in Pisgah, Iowa for the past 5 years and had been a self-employed truck driver. Donald is survived by his long time companion, Karen Wilson and her children, Craig, Randy and Debbie, along with his two brothers, Jeffrey and his wife Janet Hastings, and Frank, his niece Joy Hastings, three nephews Jeffrey and his wife Erin, John and his girlfriend Kelly Dickinson, and James, all of Brimfield, along with his two grand nephews Jeffrey and Joseph. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11:00 a.m. in the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home, followed by burial in Brimfield Cemetery. Calling hours are Thursday from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. Donations are requested to me made in his memory to the American Diabetes Association, MA Memorial Processing Center P.O.
