Obituary of Loretta Cecilia Thresher

" Palmer- Loretta Cecilia (Erikson) Thresher, 85, of Shearer St. died November 21, 2003 at Quaboag on the Common Nursing Home in W.Brookfield, MA. Born July 3, 1918 in Tewksbury, MA, she was a lifelong resident of Palmer. She was a member of the Second Congregational Church and a former member of the Lamp Lighters Club at the church. Loretta was a devoted wife to her husband of 64 years, Norman Loux Thresher and is also survived by her five children, David of Union, CT, Kenneth of Washington State, Pastor Alan of Brimfield, Shirley Meyer of Warren, ME, and Norma Jenkins of Brimfield. She also leaves two brothers, George of Norton, MA and Walter of Palmer as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Loretta was predeceased by her son Gary in 1950. A funeral service will be held Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home. Calling hours will precede the service from 10-11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Oak Knoll Cemetery."
