Obituary of M. Dorothy Mozeleski

" M. Dorothy "Gramma Dot" Mozeleski, 66, of Pine Grove Drive, died November 10 at Bay State Medical Center. Born in Holyoke, July 8, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Catherine (Burke) Serafinski. Dorothy grew up in Holyoke and lived in Chicopee for most of her married life before moving to S. Hadley 10 years ago. Mrs. Mozeleski was a communicant of St. Anthony of Padua Church in Willimansett for over 40 years. In her leisure, she was outgoing and always available to transport kids and grandkids to various outings. She was also known to travel some to the Indian Reservation in Connecticut. She was predeceased by her husband of 44 years, Richard S. Mozeleski who died in 2001. "Gramma Dot" will be sadly missed by her two daughters, Catherine Demers and her husband Glen, and Barbara Soja and her husband Stephen, all of Chicopee, along with her two brothers James Serafinski of Shelby, NC, and Joseph Serafinski of TN. She is also survived by her three cherished grandchildren, Brian Demers, Katelyn and Kyle Soja all of Chicopee. Her services will be held Friday, Nov. 14 at 9:45 a.m. from the Beers & Story S. Hadley Funeral Home, 646 Newton St, (Rte 116), followed by a liturgy of Christian burial at 11:00 a.m. in St. Anthony of Padua Church. Committal services will follow at Mass. Veteran's Memorial Cemetery in Agawam at 1:00 p.m. Calling hours will be held Thursday from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Donations may be made in her memory to either Children's Miracle Network at Bay State Medical Center, 759 Chestnut St, Springfield, or the Homeless Shelter at the VA Hospital, 421 Main St, Leeds, MA. "
