Obituary of Doris Lasher

" Doris (Beaudry) Krzyminski Lasher, 93, of Meadowbrook Acres, died Tuesday at Harrington Memorial Hospital in Southbridge. Born in Springfield, MA May 29, 1910, she was the daughter of the late William & Delia (Bernier) Beaudry was raised in Springfield. Doris was a graduate of Commerce High School and attended Springfield Technical College. Mrs. Lasher has lived in Brimfield since 1977 and previously lived in Chicopee for many years. Doris was a clerk for Mass. Mutual in Springfield for 40 years before retiring. After her retirement she worked as an executive secretary for the associate hospital administrator at Providence Hospital. She was a communicant of St. Thomas Church in Palmer, as well as a member of the Palmer and Brimfield Senior Centers. She was also a member of the Silvered Hair Senators. Doris was predeceased by her 1st husband Edward S. Krzyminski in 1958 and her 2nd husband Wendall L. Lasher in 2000. She is survived by 3 daughters Marie Libby of Salisbury, MA, Dr. Karen Peret of Holland, and Cheryl Perkins and her husband LaForrest, Jr. of Newton, NH, a son Joseph Krzyminski of Monson and a son-in-law Jim Peret. She also leaves 6 grandchildren, Heather Briere, James Peret, Kaitlin Peret, Matt Peret, Marie Moured and Michelle Libby and 6 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be Friday at 9:15 from the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home, followed by a mass of Christian burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Thomas Church, Palmer. Burial will follow in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Chicopee. Calling hours are Thursday from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Donations may be made in her memory to the Palmer Senior Center, Central St, Palmer 01069. "
