Obituary of Norma Eileen Piccoli

" Norma Eileen (Mikna) Piccoli, 79, of Main St, in the Bondsville section of Palmer, passed away August 26 at Bay State Medical Center. Born in Palmer, March 2, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Emma (Lamb) Mikna. Mrs. Piccoli was a lifelong resident of Bondsville and Palmer and worked at Monson Developmental Center as an LPN for over 35 years. She was a member of the Second Congregational Church and was a member of the Rebekkas for over 50 years. Norma loved to crochet and made many handmade doilies, afghans and hanker chiefs. She was predeceased by her husband Mario Piccoli, Sr in 1984. She will be sadly missed by her son Mario, Jr. of Hudson, NH, her two daughters Charlene Lavoie of Springfield and Faith Hyland of Feeding Hills, along with her three cherished grandchildren Travis, Todd and Courtnie and two great grandchildren Colin and Hailey. Calling hours will be Thursday from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. at the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home. A funeral service will be Friday at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Donations may be made in her memory to the American Lung Assoc, 393 Maple St. Springfield,MA. "
