Obituary of Frank L. Warren

" Frank L. Warren, 77, died November 4th in Cooley Dickinson Hospital with his family by his side. Born on April 27, 1931 in Ludlow, he was the son of the late Harold and Gladys (Hines) Warren. He grew up in Ludlow and graduated from Springfield Trade School. A Veteran of the Korean War, he was stationed in Japan repairing tanks. Frank worked 40 years as a mechanic at Springfield Trucks and retired from the Cooley Dickinson Hospital Environmental Services Department in 2001. Frank was a Granby resident for 53 years and was an active member of the Church of Christ, Granby where he was a custodian for many years. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Shirley (White) and daughters Linda J. Kelly and her husband Gary of Ludlow, Cheryl W. Goodman and her husband Darrel of MT, Pamela L.Warren of Granby, and Joy F. Warren of Easthampton. His two sisters, Frances W. Glen of Tucson, AZ and Gladys W. Atkinson of East Windsor CT and many nieces and nephews also survive him. There will be no calling hours. A memorial service will be held November 15, 2008 at 2 p.m. at the Church of Christ, Granby. Donations in his name can be made to the Church of Christ Memorial Fund or The Granby Fire Department, c/o Chief Russ Anderson. Beers and Story South Hadley Funeral Home have been entrusted with arrangements. "
