Obituary of Steven J. Lukas

"Steven J. Lukas, 25, passed away Oct 23rd at Baystate Medical surrounded by his family and friends as a result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident in Palmer on October 14th. Steven was born in Milford, CT on April 3, 1983. He was the devoted son of Ruth and Marc Holly of Warren and Stephen and Yvonne Lukaszewski of Woodbury, CT. Steven was raised in Warren and leaves behind his brothers Daniel Holly of Warren, and Marc Holly, Jr. of Seymour, CT, a sister Crystal Holly of Milford, CT, and brothers Steve and Keith Hancock of Woodbury, CT. He also leaves his maternal grandmother Helen Mikulka of Durham, CT, paternal grandparents, John and Marilyn Malewicki of Brandon, VT, and his most loving aunt Christine Clark of Durham, CT, his girlfriend Breeana Reigner along with many other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends. Steven was predeceased by his maternal grandfather George Mikulka on March 9, 2002. Steven attended Warren Elementary School and Quaboag High School and worked at American Carbonation Corp. in Palmer for 2 years. He previously worked at Masterman's in Auburn. Steve will be remembered for his strength, kindness, sense of humor, and strong will. A service to celebrate his life will be Tuesday, October 28 at 11:00 a.m. at the Second Congregational Church, 1080 Pleasant St, Palmer, followed by burial in Oak Knoll Cemetery, Palmer. Calling hours will be Monday, October 27 from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home, 1475 N. Main St., (Rte. 20).
