Obituary of Lori Ann Skinner

"Lori A. (Gzimalowski) Skinner, 53, of Anderson St., in the Three Rivers section of Palmer, died Monday, October 20 at her home with her family by her side. Born in Springfield, September 23, 1955, she was the daughter of Laura (Moller) Perrin of Springfield, and the late Donald Gzimalowski. Lori grew up in Springfield and has lived in Three Rivers for 24 years. She was a building aide at Old Mill Pond School and had previously worked at Three Rivers Elementary School. Though her title was building aide, Lori was a willing volunteer for many duties within the school. Her volunteering extended to the community as an honorary member of the Palmer Lions Club. She also gave her time to the Palmer Library and had also been honored at Pathfinder for her "perfect attendance" at baseball and soccer games when her son was a student there. Besides her mother, she will be deeply missed by her husband of 33 years, Douglas, along with her son Mathew of Chapel Hill, NC. She also leaves a sister Kimberly Perrin of Springfield and a brother Donald of Hadley. A service to celebrate her life will be Saturday, October 25 at 10:00 a.m. at the Second Congregational Church, 1080 Pleasant Street followed by burial in Four Corners Cemetery. At the family's request, please omit flowers and make donations in her memory to either Palmer Lions Club, P.O. Box 133, Palmer, or Baystate Regional Cancer Program at Mary Lane Hospital, 85 South Street, Ware, 01082."
