Obituary of Phyllis A. Cook

"Belchertown – Phyllis A. Cook, 79, passed away on October 8, 2008 at Mt. St. Vincent Nursing Home in Holyoke. Born and raised in Belchertown, MA, she was the daughter of the late Lincoln and Alena (Peck) Cook. Phyllis was a gentle soul who loved nature and animals and in her leisure she enjoyed knitting. She is survived by a brother-in-law Charlie Howard and his daughter Holly Rainaud both of Belchertown. She also leaves a niece Marlene Burke, four nephews Mark Howard, Raymond Farmer, Kenney Burke and Michael Burke and a close friend Pam O'Keefe. She was predeceased by two sisters Helen Howard and Mary Burke. A Graveside service will be Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Belchertown. Beers & Story Belchertown Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. Donation may be made in her memory to Mt. St. Vincents Residents Counsel fund, 35 Holy Family Rd., Holyoke, MA 01040."
