Obituary of Luz I. Bulan

"W.Springfield- Luz I. Bulan, 70, of Craig Dr. passed away June 25, 2008 at her home with her family at her side. Born December 28, 1937 in San Antonio, Nueva Ecija, Philippines, she was the daughter of late Dominador Dela Paz and Juana Magno. Luz has resided in W.Springfield for the past 10 years, previously living in the Philippines with her family. She most recently worked in the produce department at Stop & Shop and previously worked in dietary departments in local nursing homes. She enjoyed photography, painting, bowling, gardening and shopping. Luz will be greatly missed by her family, her husband of 44 years, Vicente Bulan, her children Mayette Gumapas and her husband Greg of Seattle, WA, Fe Doreen Rodriguez and her husband Edralin of Westfield, Anna Cecilia Bulan and her husband Sancho San Diego of the Philippines, Ellen Grace Boujraoui and her husband Khalid of Dubai, UAE, Rose Marion Ko and her husband Willy of the Philippines, and Donn Michael Bulan and his wife Tricia of Westfield. She also leaves 2 sisters and 2 brothers along with 6 grandchildren. Visitation will be held Sunday from 2:00-5:00 p.m. at the Beers & Story S.Hadley Funeral Home, 646 Newton St. (Rte116). Friends and family may gather at the funeral home Monday at 9:00 a.m. to process to Mater Dolorosa Church in Holyoke for a mass of Catholic burial at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations would be greatly appreciated to Baystate VNA and Hospice, 50 Maple St., Springfield, MA 01102.
