Obituary of Dorothy F. Graves

"Palmer- Dorothy F. (Wadleigh) Graves, 93, of Wilbraham St., passed away June 19, 2008 at her home with her family by her side. Born November 13, 1914 in Stafford Springs, CT, she was daughter of the late Harry and Ola (Moulton) Wadleigh. Dorothy has lived in Palmer for most of her life, previously living in Springfield. She enjoyed cooking and sharing her baking with her family. Dorothy was previously a member of Grace Union Church in Wilbraham. She was predeceased by her husband Rutherford in 1994 and will be greatly missed by her children, William H. and his wife Irene of Hampden, Nelson R. and his wife Gunvor of Palmer, and Ola M. Dane with whom she lived with for the past five years. "Grandma Dot" also leaves six grandchildren, Marcia Porter, David Graves, Kristin Hilf, Leah Deslauriers, Brian and Eric Dane, as well as five great grandchildren, niece Susan Gilman and nephew James Wadleigh. Funeral services will be held Wednesday June 25th at 11:00 a.m. at the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home followed by burial in Oak Knoll Cemetery.
