Obituary of Carol A. Lemon

"Ormond Beach, FL – Carol A. (Cieslak) Lemon, 68, formerly of Pine St., in Palmer passed away on March 16, 2008 at her home in Florida. Born in Chicopee, MA on March 16, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Maurice and Louise (Dudek) Cieslak. Carol moved to Florida five years ago and previously was a longtime resident of Palmer and communicant of St. Thomas Church. She retired as a registered nurse from the Belchertown State School and also worked for Monson Developmental Center and Wing Memorial Hospital. Carol was a member of the ladies auxiliary of the Belchertown V.F.W. and worked for the VNA in Springfield. Carol enjoyed spending time with her family and her dog Phoebe. Her second husband, James Lemon (2001), as well as her son Leon F. Parent, III preceded her in death. She will be greatly missed by her children Keith Parent and his wife Pam of Palmer, Candice Davis with whom she lived in Florida and Patti-Ann McMillan and her husband Albert of Ludlow. She also leaves a sister Christine Gawron of Wilbraham, twelve grandchildren Michael, Matthew, Nicole, Rabecca, Jackie, Vicki, Devon Parent, Kayla Davis, Lindsay Davis, Heather, Jennifer and Paul McMillan and a great grandson Kirk. Her former husband, Leon F. Parent, Jr, also survives her. Funeral services will begin Friday at 9:15 a.m. from the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home followed by a service at St. Thomas Church at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Donations may be made in her memory to the American Heart Association OR St. Brendan's Church, Ormond Beach, FL 32176. "
