Obituary of Richard H. Charbonneau

"Elk Grove, CA, Richard H. Charbonneau, 78, formerly of Thorndike, MA died January 23, 2008. Born in Palmer, August 26, 1929, he lived in Thorndike most of his life before relocating to Elk Grove in 1995. He was a former communicant of St. Mary's Church in Thorndike and worked as a machinist for the former Diamond National before retiring. His wife, Shirley (Bushey) Charbonneau died in 2006. He will be missed by his 5 children, Ami Charbonneau of Elk Grove, CA, Jane Nutter and Paul Charbonneau of Palmer, David Charbonneau of TN and Francis Charbonneau of Sacramento, CA, along with 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be on Friday, February 29 at 11:00 a.m. in the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home, 1475 N. Main St., (Rte.20) followed by burial in St. Thomas Cemetery. A calling hour will precede the service from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. For those wishing, donations may be made in his memory for the benefit of cancer research. "
