Obituary of Hector F. Tetrault

"Belchertown-Hector F. Tetrault, 85, of North Washington St. passed away January 9, 2008 at Linda Manor Extended Care Facility in Leeds. Born in Pittsfield, MA on January 6, 1923, he was the son of the late Dona and Virginia (Marier) Tetrault. Hector has lived in Belchertown since 1954, previously residing in Chicopee. He was a self-employed landscaper at Hector’s Lanscape Service and previously worked at Belchertown State School. He will be deeply missed by his wife of 52 years, Edna (Mattoon) as well as his children, Michael of Greenfield, David, Francis, Denise and Scott, all of Belchertown. He also leaves a sister Margaret (Peggy) Campagna of Springfield along with two grandchildren, Sara and Amy. Services will begin Monday at 9:15 a.m. at the Beers & Story Belchertown Funeral Home followed by a Mass of Christian burial at St. Francis Church. Burial will be in South Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday from 2:00-5:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Donations may be made in his memory to VNA & Hospice of Cooley Dickinson, 168 Industrial Drive, Northampton, MA 01060. "
