Obituary of John Eugene Griswold

" Palmer, John E. Griswold, 61, died June 7, 2002 in Chestnut Hill Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in E. Longmeadow. He was born Sept. 26, 1940 in Palmer, MA, he was the son of the late Harry & Elizabeth (Collins) Griswold. He was a life long resident of Palmer, MA. He was a machinist at Zero Corp. in Monson for 20 years and retired in 1991. John was a veteran in the US Navy he served on the U.S.S Douglas H. Fox destroyer. He is survived by 2 daughters Patty Deyo of Ludlow, Debbie James of Palmer, also 3 grandchildren Jason Deyo, Zachary James & Maygen James. Calling hours are Monday from 4-7:00 pm. A funeral service will be Monday at 7:00pm in the BEERS & STORY PALMER FUNERAL HOME. Burial is at the convenience of the family.
