Obituary of Carol Opalenik

"South Hadley – Carol (Staseowski) Opalenik, 89, of Lathrop Village, passed away September 6, 2007 at Cooley Dickinson Hospital. Born January 16, 1918 in Holyoke, MA, daughter of the late Andrew and Veronica Staseowski. Carol has lived in South Hadley for 50 years and worked as a seamstress for many years. She was predeceased by her husband Charles R. Opalenik. She is survived by three children Charles, Jr., of South Hadley, Sandra Casher of Orlando, FL and Nancy Theriault of Chicopee. She also leaves three sisters, six grandchildren, six great grandchildren and one great great grandson. All services are private and burial is at the convenience of the family. Beers & Story South Hadley Funeral Home was entrusted with the arrangements."
