Obituary of Arthur J. Russo

" Arthur J. Russo, 85, of Breckenridge St., died Sunday at Wing Memorial Hosp. Born in Stateline, CT, he was the son of the late Angelo and Carmile Russo. He grew up in Ct, and moved to Palmer in 1933. He was employed by the Carpenter’s Union #108 for 30 years, until his retirement in 1979. One of the projects he was involved with was the construction of Bay State West in Springfield, among many others. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, the former Dorothy M. Mack. He also leaves a son and four daughters, and 2 sisters, Theresa Gamache of Wales and Rose Jenneson of Florence, MA, as well as 10 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Thursday morning at the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home at 10:00AM. Calling hours are Wednesday from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. "
