Obituary of Doris M. Weston

"Wilbraham- Doris Mildred (Collins) Weston, 97, passed away August 25, 2007 at Wingate at Wilbraham. Born in Millers Falls, VT on February 28, 1910, Doris grew up and raised her family in Springfield and later joined her sons in Brimfield and Wales. She was a member of the South Congregational Church in Springfield and previously worked at Buxton’s in Agawam. Doris was a loving mother to her three sons and previously volunteered at Baystate Medical Center. In 1993, she was predeceased by her husband of 65 years, Stanley N. and is survived by her children, Donald and his wife Sheila of Marathon, FL, Ronald and his wife Linda of Brimfield, Gerald and his wife Linda of Wales along with six grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Doris also leaves a sister June Gilman of Flagstaff, AZ. Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
