Obituary of William Louis Robert

"William L. Robert, 48, of Chauncey Walker St, died Wednesday, August 8 at Baystate Medical Center. Born in Granby, June 19, 1959, he was the son of the late George and Barbara (Casey) Robert. Bill was a graduate of Granby Jr. –Sr. High school and attended Precision Machinery & Technical Institute. Most recently he worked for Savage Arms for a year and Smith & Wesson as a CNC operator for the last three years. He had previously worked as a shift supervisor for Sunoco Paper Products in Holyoke for 20 years. In his leisure, Bill enjoyed NASCAR. His two sisters, Lynn Guertin of Belchertown and Nancy M. Archambault and her husband Roger of Chicopee, survive him. He also leaves four nephews, George and Charles Rock, and Jason and Jeremy Archambault, and a niece Jennifer Archambault, along with seven grand nephews and two grand nieces. A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be Monday, August 13 at 10:00 a.m. at the Beers & Story Belchertown Funeral Home followed by burial in West Cemetery, Granby.
