Obituary of Henrietta N. Mykytiuk

"Henrietta N. Mykytiuk, 84, died on Thursday, August 2, 2007, at home with her family by her side. Born on November 8, 1922 in Young America Indiana, she was the daughter of the late John and Inez (Krause) Montgomery. She served her country in the Army as a Registered Nurse during WWII. Henrietta relocated to South Hadley after the war and has lived here since that time. She was a communicant of St. Patrick’s Church in South Hadley. She enjoyed traveling the world with her husband Paul of 62 years. She also loved to garden, cook and was an avid reader but her main passion was raising and caring for their eleven children. She will be sadly missed by her husband Paul, her eleven children, Paul and his wife Darlene of S. Hadley, Susan Harman and her husband Preston of Anchorage, Alaska, Col. Phillip and his wife Melissa of Dayton, OH, David and his wife Lisa of Wellington, OH, Robert of Moltonborough, NH, Beth Cuzzort and her husband George of Eagle River, Alaska, James of Ogden, UT, Joyce Dickerman and her husband Richard of Cody, WY, Theresa Hutton and her husband Dennis of Boise, ID, Donna of South Hadley and Kenneth and his wife Christina of Federal Way, WA. Her 15 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren, mother-in-law Mary Mykytiuk of Holyoke and her brother William Montgomery of New Port Richey, FL, also survive her. Her brother Robert predeceased her. A private memorial Mass was held on August 6th at St. Patrick’s Church in South Hadley.
