Obituary of Barbara J. Silva

"Barbara J. (Christiansen) Silva, 77, of Beacon Rd. passed away July 30, 2007 at Umass Memorial Hospital. Born June 12, 1930 in Palmer, MA, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Lenore (Smart) Christiansen. Barbara has lived in Palmer all of her life and was a 1948 graduate of Palmer High School. She enjoyed many years vacationing at Cape Cod and Falmouth with her family and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Albert A. Silva in 1967 and is survived by her children, Albert Silva of Twentynine Palms, CA, her daughter Barbara West and her husband of Vacaville, CA, along with two grandchildren Maria Silva and Nicholas West. Barbara was the youngest of 10 children and leaves two sisters Shirley Baker of Wichita, KS and Dorothy Finch of Athol, MA. All services will be private. "
