Obituary of Barbara M. Brown Vaill

"Brimfield- Barbara M. Brown Vaill, 85, of Warren Rd., passed away May 24, 2007 at Quaboag on the Common. Born November 15, 1921 in Westfield, she was the daughter of the late Charles William and Florence M. (Ely) Marcoullier. Barbara has lived in Brimfield since 1945, previously residing in Westfield. She was previously employed at the Springfield Armory during WWII, Springfield Molders in Monson and in the cafeteria at Brimfield Elementary School. Barbara most recently worked as a bus monitor for the handicap school bus in Brimfield as well as assisting her husband as a bookkeeper at Vaill’s Dairy. She was a member of the former Brimfield Grange, the Palmer Grange and took much enjoyment in the Brimfield Woodbine Coffee Club. Barbara will be greatly missed by her husband of 51 years, Stanley H. and her children Russell and his wife Ronda Brown, Randall and his wife Terry Vaill all of Palmer, and Darlene Gregoire and her husband Richard Pothier along with grandchildren Randall Vaill, Jr., Jennifer McNally, and Suzanne Brown. She also leaves great grandchildren Julian Vaill, Lauren Vaill and the future baby girl McNally along with siblings Charles D. of FL, and Kenneth Marcoullier of Virginia. Barbara was predeceased by her first husband, David B. Brown in 1953 and a brother William. Friends and family may gather at the funeral home Wednesday at 9:00 a.m. followed by a mass of Christian burial at 10:00 a.m. at St. Christopher’s Church. Burial will follow in Brimfield Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home. For those wishing, donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice. "
