Obituary of Sarah Desorcy

"Sarah E. (Jensen) Desorcy, 51 of Randall St. died Wednesday, May 9 at Baystate Medical Center. Born in Nashua, NH, January 4, 1956, she was the daughter of Henry F. and Annie E. (Kanto) Jensen of Charlton. Sarah grew up in Charlton and lived for many years in Warren before moving to Palmer 4 years ago. She graduated from Shepard Hill High School and also achieved associates degrees from both Quinsigamond Community College and Endicott College. She was a member of the Phi Theta Kappa honor society honor sorority. She worked for Evergreen Solar in Marlboro for the past 3 years, and had previously worked for IPG Photonics and Galileo, both in Sturbridge. Besides her parents, she will be deeply missed by her two sons, Todd M. and his girlfriend Abbie Coburn of Worcester, and Adam with whom she lived, along with her significant other, Craig and his son Alex. She also leaves two brothers Robert of Maple Park, IL, and Jack of Grandview, WA and a sister Harriet Jensen of CA, as well as two granddaughters, Chloe and Julia. A Service of Remembrance will be Wednesday, May 16 at 7:00 p.m. at the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home, 1475 N. Main St., (Rte. 20). Calling hours will be Wednesday from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. preceding the service."
