Obituary of Martha Faustena Tibbetts

"Monson, Martha Faustena (Morse) Tibbetts, 96, of Harrison Ave. died Sunday, April 22 at Wingate at Wilbraham. Born in Belmont, ME June 29, 1910, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary (Butler)Morse. She has lived in Monson since 1955 and worked as the Head Housekeeper at the Monson Developmental Center for 30 years before retiring in 1980. Her husband Hubert W. Tibbetts died in 2000. She is survived by 4 children, Betty Smith of Three Rivers, Francis L. Cunningham of Belfast, ME, and Arthur P. Fairbrother of Prospect, ME, deceased children Suzie “Pauline” Fairbrother in 1992, Maynard Cunningham in 1995, Elizabeth Cunningham as a baby, Thomas Cunningham in 1998, and Adolf E. Cunningham in 2006. Martha leaves several grandchildren, many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. at the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home, 1475 N.Main St. (Rte 20).
