Obituary of Norman Henry Morin

" Norman H. Morin, 82, of Meadowbrook Acres, died March 31, 2007 in Wingate at Wilbraham Nursing Home. Born on March 17, 1925 in Greenwich Village, MA, he was the son of the late Jeremiah and Agnes (Parenteau) Morin. Mr. Morin served his country during WWII in the US Navy and was a member of the American Legion in Monson. Norman retired in 1996 from Zero manufacturing as a sheet metal worker after working for many years. He previously worked for Standard Electric in Springfield. He is survived by his wife Mable (Weston) Morin and a daughter Norma Kaminski and her husband John M. of W. Springfield. He also leaves a brother Fred Morin of FL, a sister Lena Babcock of Agawam and three grandchildren Danielle and Darcy Morin and Victor Kaminski. He was predeceased by a son Richard Morin in 2006. A Memorial Service will be Thursday at 12:45 p.m. at the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home. A calling hour will precede the service from 12:00-12:45 p.m. A Committal Service will be at 2:00 p.m. at the Massachusetts Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery in Agawam.
