Obituary of Wanda E Catalano

Chicopee- Wanda E. Catalano of Deltona, Florida, formerly of Chicopee, passed away on Friday, February 14, 2020 at Advent Health Fish Memorial with her loving family at her side. Wanda was born in Trion, GA on September 13, 1938 to the late Ruby Hartline and Alfred Whitehead.  Wanda had a long and successful career as an employee of JCPenney. She was an avid fan of NASCAR and enjoyed attending races with family.  She had a very generous heart and always went out of her way to help others.  Most of all, Wanda loved her family and spending time with them.  She is survived by her loving children and their spouses Madonna and Charles Vaughn of Deltona, FL; Tony and Jan Day of Trion, GA; Lorrie Hogue of Sanford, FL; Joni and Jim Masse of Orlando, FL; Richard and Diane Catalano of Granby, MA; Penny and Steven Gagne of Belchertown, MA; Greg Catalano of Boise, ID; and Jeff and Julie Catalano of Boise, ID.  She will be sadly missed by her 16 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandson, brother-in-law, Paul Catalano, sister-in-law, Pat Whitehead, as well as many nieces and nephews.  Wanda was predeceased by her husband of 54 years, Valentino Catalano, her son, Randy Catalano, her brother, Marvin Whitehead, sister, Kathryn Whitehead, and sister-in-law, Dolores Catalano.   All services will be privately held at Beers & Story South HadleyFuneral Home.
