Obituary of Sandra J Stanton

Brimfield -Sandra J. Stanton, 66,  passed away August 17, 2020 at home surrounded by her sister's Jackie, Midge and brother's Jimmy and Charlie. She was born on July 26, 1954 in Stafford Springs, CT to Ralph, Sr. and Nancy (Coolbroth) Stanton.  Sandra was a life long resident of Brimfield.   She had many hobbies, including crafts ( A.C. Moore and Michael's), carpentry, puzzles, traveling, tending to her vegetable garden and going to the casino.  She loved Lindt Truffles and eating out at the Olive Garden. Sandra will be remembered for her beautiful smile and the joy she brought to everyone she met.  Sandra is survived by her nine siblings, Jacqueline Stanton, James Stanton, Charles Stanton, Margery Wilburn and her husband Tom, Janet Arborio and her husband Rick, Donna Stanton, Prudence Neilsen and husband Donald, William Stanton and Ralph Stanton, Jr.  She also leaves her adopted sister, Betty Bentley and husband Eric Thur, close friends, Gary and Elaine Kinley, three nieces and six nephews.  Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Sheryl Ann and Aunt Mary Stanton.  Calling hours will be held on Monday, August 24, 2020 from 10:00-12:00 p.m. at the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home.  Followed by a graveside service at 12:30 p.m in Brimfield Cemetery.
