Obituary of Bruce Alan Fitzgerald

Belchertown- Bruce Alan Fitzgerald passed away April 22, 2021 at Cooley Dickinson Hospital.
Born July 12, 1950, he was the son of the late Vivian (Brown) Gaudette and Frederick Fitzgerald, Sr. He leaves behind his wife of 48 years, Paula (Marion) Fitzgerald; three children, Lisa Palmer and her husband Steve Palmer, Jr., Pamela Fitzgerald and her partner, Carl Warner, and Christian Fitzgerald; as well as six grandchildren, Kyle and Jordan Turner, Alyssa, Eric and Hope Hawkins, and Dustin Palmer. He also leaves behind his siblings, Cheryl Nute, Guy Fitzgerald, Sr., Laura Lussier and their families. He was predeceased by two daughters, Norma Fitzgerald in 1975 and Rebecca (Fitzgerald) Turner in 2012; siblings, Sharon Fitzgerald, Frederick Fitzgerald, Sr., and Charles Gaudette, Sr.; as well as his step-father, Claire (Pete) Gaudette.
He will be remembered for his unique sense of humor, storytelling, and love of family vacations, fishing, berry picking and football. He will be deeply missed. A graveside service will be held Saturday, May 1st at 10:00 a.m. in West St. Cemetery.
