Obituary of Michele M. (Curran) Caldwell

Belchertown -Michele M. (Curran) Caldwell, 55, passed away suddenly on May 8, 2021 at her home.  She was born October 17, 1965 and is the beloved daughter of Ronald and Ann Marie (McGough) Curran of Centerville, MA. Michele grew up in South Hadley and graduated from South Hadley High School and the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. For several years, she worked as a regional manager at J. Crew and Eddie Bauer, and as a real estate agent throughout Western MA. She was a gifted and talented artist with a love for pen and ink drawings and calligraphy.  Michele loved to spend time in her garden, and it bore testimony to her skill. She was a generous, reliable, and loving friend to many - The love and care that she gave to all those around her was immeasurable. Michele is survived by her husband of 28 years, Matthew H. Caldwell, IV, and their children, Matthew H. Caldwell, V, and Madison M. Caldwell. She is also survived by her siblings, Dr. David M. Curran and his wife Tina of Scottsdale, AZ. and Paige K. Curran of Boston, MA., as well as several nieces andnephews.  Services will be privately held and Beers & Story South Hadley Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.  For those wishing, donations may be made in her memory to St. Francis Church, PO Box 612, Belchertown MA 01007.
