Obituary of Karl Edward Hutcelseder

 

 

Karl E. Hutcelseder, 78, a lifelong resident of South Hadley, passed away May 17, 2021 at Baystate Medical Center. He was born on April 9, 1943 in Holyoke, MA to John and Veronica (Janik) Hutcelseder.

Karl graduated from Holyoke Vocational High School and was drafted into the US Army during the Vietnam War. He worked as a recovery operator for Rexam Graphics in South Hadley for many years. Karl was an avid hunter and fisherman, a Red Sox and Bruins Fan and a member of the Chicopee Sportsman's Club. He was also a member of Amvets Post 12 in Chicopee.

He will be deeply missed by his brother, John J. Hutcelseder of South Hadley, a cousin and many friends.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, May 24th from 4:00-7:00 pm at the Beers & Story South Hadley Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 10:00 am in the funeral home, followed by burial in Mater Dolorosa Cemetery.
