Obituary of Anthony "Tony" J. Morrione

Granby, Anthony “Tony” Morrione, 69, passed away peacefully on Oct. 2 with his loving wife and his two favorite daughters by his side.

Tony graduated from Chicopee Comp in 1970 and from the University of Phoenix in 2010.  He retired in 2011 from Hasbro.  Tony was a true family man who put a smile on the face of all he met.  He loved music, travel and cooking family dinners with his wife.  One of his greatest joys was being Grandpa to his grandchildren – watching movies, cooking, swimming and helping them with their homework.  He will be deeply missed by his family and all who knew him. He is survived by his wife and soulmate of 28 years, Pamela Morrione; his favorite oldest daughter Angela Snow of South Hadley and his favorite youngest daughter, Gina Willette and her husband Brian, of South Hadley along with his three cherished grandchildren, Rhea Snow and Josh and Zack Willette; his three brothers, Joseph Morrione, James Morrione (Jodi) and Michael Morrione (Karen) and a large extended family.  A celebration of Tony's life will be held on Saturday, October 9th at 10 a.m. at Beers and Story South Hadley Funeral Home, 646 Newton St.  Burial will follow at West Street Cemetery, Granby.  Calling hours will be Friday from 4-7 p.m. For everyone's safety, facial covering is required.
