Obituary of Barbara Ann Palmer

South Hadley—Barbara Ann (Tracy) Palmer, 73, passed away on Friday, November 26, 2021 surrounded by her loving family at Holyoke Medical Center. Daughter of the late Armand and Hermina (Baczewski) Tracy, she was born in Holyoke on January 29, 1948.

After graduating from South Hadley High School, Barbara worked for over 20 years most recently for Associated Builders Inc. as an office manager. 

In her free time, Barbara loved arts and crafts, specifically knitting, crocheting, and needle point.

Above all, family was most important to her and she loved spending the holidays with all of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Barbara will be dearly missed by all who knew her, including her loving husband of 51 years, Stanley Palmer; her daughter Tracy Palmer of South Hadley; her 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; as well as many extended family members and friends. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her daughter, Kimberly Palmer as well as her sister, Patty Kuchta.

Visitation will be Thursday, December 2, 2021 from 4pm-7pm at Beers & Story South Hadley Funeral Home, 646 Newton St. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
