Obituary of Benjamin M Hall

Cummington-Benjamin M. Hall, 61, passed away January 4, 2022. Ben was born in Northampton on December 8, 1960, the youngest son of Charles R. and Mari (Stevens) Hall. Ben grew up in the small town of Cummington and lived for many years in W.Springfield, NH. For over 30 years he worked as a lumber grader at the former G.H. Evarts in W.Springfield, NH, which is now known as Kennebunk Lumber. Ben is the youngest brother to his four siblings; Mari Hall and Roan Katahdin of Worthington, Chris and Deb Hall of Belchertown, Nancy Hall of Easthampton, and Leon Colson and Robin Hall of Hackettstown, NJ. Besides his siblings, he leaves four nieces and two nephews along with good friend, Paul Mountain. "A man of many stories told as his dad did, humor in the darkest hour, and a big heart that fit his big body. He was a loner, lover of nature, baby brother and a curmudgeon. He will be missed." A private gathering for the family is planned for the summer. Beers & Story Belchertown Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
