Obituary of Cynthia M. North

Belchertown- Cynthia M. (Stabach) North, 75, passed away August 24, 2022, with her family by her side. She was born on Aug. 5, 1947 in Ludlow, MA to Casimir and Josephine (Cieplik) Stabach. Cynthia was raised in Springfield and lived there for many years until she married and moved to Belchertown in 1975. She retired as a supervisor of the mail room from Friendly's Ice Cream Corporation in Wilbraham, where she worked for over 40 years. Cynthia loved the beauty of nature whether it was feeding the birds, turkeys and deer in her backyard or cultivating her vegetable and flower gardens or visiting a beautiful beach. She will be deeply missed by her husband of 47 years, George H. North of Belchertown, two loving sisters, Fran Consolini and her husband John and Sue Lunsford and her husband Rick both of Springfield. She also leaves many nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held on Thurs., Sept. 1st at the Beers & Story Belchertown Funeral Home from 10:00am-12:00pm. A graveside service will follow at 12:30 p.m. at South Cemetery.
