Obituary of Jean E Dane

Palmer-Jean E. (Marcy) Dane, 90, passed away on December 21, 2022 at Palmer Healthcare. Born September 18, 1932 in Palmer, she was the daughter of Lewis E. and Doris (Lyon) Marcy. Jean has lived her entire life in Palmer and proudly served her country in the US Navy. She was part of the Lions Club in Palmer and for over 30 years a member of the Daughters of Isabella. She was also the past regional president for the Ladies Axillary F.R.A. as well as a longtime member. Jean was predeceased by her husband, Richard in 2009 and will long be remembered by her daughter Debra Larzazs and her husband Gary of Ware as well as two grandchildren, Michael Larzazs of Palmer and Michelle Larzazs and her fiancée Brittanie of Ware. Jean also leaves a son, Robert Hillard of Nashville, TN and was predeceased by three brothers. Visitation will be held Tuesday January 3rd from 10:30-11:30 a.m. at the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home with a service to begin at 11:30 a.m. Burial and military honors will take place at a later date at the MA Veterans' Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Palmer Ambulance.
