Obituary of Michael R. Disley

Palmer- Michael R. Disley, 69, passed away January 21, 2023. He was born on January 17, 1954 in Springfield to the late Maurice and Virginia (Ellithorpe) Disley. After graduating from Palmer High School, Michael proudly served his country in the US Army. Following his time in the service, Michael worked as a laborer for the Palmer Railroad Company. He was a former member of the American Legion, loved watching and playing football, and was loved by his family and friends. Besides his parents, Michael was preceded in death by his siblings, Maurice, Maureen, Thomas, Michael, and Peter. He will be dearly missed by his brothers, Frederick Disley and wife Charlene, and John Disley and wife Rosie. He also leaves many nieces and nephews. Michael's services are being held at the family's convenience. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in Michael's memory to the Palmer High School Athletic Department.
