We were sad to hear of Bob’s passing. His laugh and smile was awesome. I remember him as a drummer in a band. Yogi remembers the day Bob went into the Army because that was the day Yogi received his draft notice. We will miss him!

WHAT A GREAT GUY. In the five or so years that I have known him as a neighbor, he has always been super helpful, always pleasant and kind, had a wry but gentle humor, and I have witnessed his extraordinary love and devotion to his devoted wife Peggy, his son Chris, and to his 2 grandsons, all of whom he absolutely adored. I will miss his smile and his low, quick chuckle! Rest in peace, my friend.

Hi Peg, so sorry for your loss. I'll really miss my fishing buddy. Short story about one of our Deep sea fishing adventures. We arrived in Gloucester the night before fishing, slept in my truck. We got on the very old wooden boat on the yankee fleet. Set sail, nice trip , calm seas, about 20 miles out to sea. All of sudden smoke started coming the engine carpartment, electrical fire. Everyone puts on life jackets, coast guard on the way. I look over at Bob and he's dropping his fishing jig over the side. He's fishing, boat still smoking. Fire was put out. Bob fished for about 10min, the crew saw him and told him to reel it up. Coast guard escorted usback to shore.

Bob was a great guy and fishing buddy. We did alot of Deep sea fishing together. We used to go to Gloucester the night before, to get our fishing spots. We used sleep in my truck. We joked about how many times we slept together. Him in his seat and me in mine, those fishing memories I'll always remember. The boat caught fire one trip, we put on our life preservers and waited for the coast guard to escort us back 20 miles to shore. Bob grabbed his fishing pole and started fishing, the boat was smoking from an electrical fire. Wish I had a picture of him fishing with life preserver with the boat on fire. That's just one story, many more... Rest in Peace my friend!! Paul kleko

Our heartfelt sorrow to Vicky & Mike, Micky, Chris, Family, Friends and all who loved Rob. Though I hadn't seen him in years, just seeing his pic melted all the years away and I'm right back at school days. Rob was always a good guy and a gentle spirit. Rest easy Rob and hope we all catch up on the other side.
