Obituary of Edna Ann Tetrault

Belchertown - Edna Ann (Mattoon) Tetrault, 88, passed away surrounded by her loving family at home on August 1, 2023. She was born on February 4, 1935, in Montague, MA and was raised in Chicopee where she graduated from Holy Name High School. She moved to Belchertown in 1955 and has lived there ever since. Edna was a member of St. Francis Church. Edna was one of the kindest people you could ever have met, her love and devotion to her family was unsurpassed. She enjoyed gardening, baking and watching over her family. She will be deeply missed by her children, Francis "Frank" and his wife Michelle Tetrault, Denise Tetrault, Scott Tetrault and his wife Karen all of Belchertown and Michael Tetrault of Sunderland. She will also be missed by her siblings, Anne Therrien of Baldwinsville, NY, Marie Brown of Agawam, Audrey Gradischer of Long Island, NY, Debbie Gould of Westfield and Harold Mattoon of Chicopee. She also leaves three grandchildren, Tucker Johnson and his wife LaDonna, Sara Tetrault, Amy Nicoletti, three great-grandchildren, Lillian Nicoletti, Mattie Hoffer and Reagan Hoffer. Edna was predeceased by her husband, Hector F. and her son David Tetrault, as well as six siblings, Kenneth, George, Daniel, David, Shirley Mattoon and Beverly Bicnel.  A Memorial Mass will be held on August 28th at 5:00pm at St. Francis Church in Belchertown. Donations in her memory may be made to the Belchertown Senior Center.
