Obituary of Michael E. Radowski

Michael Edmund Radowski, Jr., 93, passed away peacefully on November 5, 2023. Mike was born in Holyoke on February 4, 1930 to the late Anna (Partyka) and Michael E. Radowski, Sr. After graduating from Holyoke Trade School, Mike served in the Army during the Korean War. A proud veteran, he had special memories of his time in uniform. Over the years he was employed by grocers Grower's Outlet and Meatland and finally retiring from Food Mart. Mike enjoyed many years of world travel with his partner, the late Inge Norton of Chicopee, MA. Mike was a staunch Democrat always happy to share his political views. Mike also followed all weather forecasts closely and could be counted on to alert family and friends to pending storms. He enjoyed spending time with his family and had an interest in all things related to WWII, Egyptian history, UFOs and fishing. Mike was predeceased by his wife, Barbara (Kisiel) Radowski and a brother, Richard Radowski. He is survived by his son, Robert Radowski and his wife Kathy Green of Ludlow, MA. He is also survived by a sister and brother-in-law, Patricia and Donald Carlson of Holyoke, MA, as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family from the Green and Norton families. Visitation will be Wednesday, November 15 from 10-11 a.m. at the Beers & Story South Hadley Funeral Home with a service to begin at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Mater Dolorosa Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Ludlow Veterans Services, 487 Holyoke St., Ludlow MA 01056 or a charity of choice.
